Hello! My name is Sarah, and I'm lucky to have found myself working in the lovely profession of urban planning.

I recently completed my Master's in Urban Planning at Columbia University while working as an Assistant Planner for the City of Ojai, California. In Ojai, I drafted ordinances, presented at Planning Commission meetings, coordinated affordable housing projects, and helped transition the City from paper to online permitting software.

Prior to planning, I studied Global Health and Urban Studies at UC San Diego. Along the way, I worked in healthcare as an EMT, traveled as a corporate trainer for a Neapolitan pizza company, and spent some time walking dogs, too.

Thankfully all of these experiences have brought me to where I am today. I am passionate about creating community. As generic as it sounds, I mean it! I love nothing more than being in spaces where people can let their walls down, engage with one another, feel safe, and simply exist. I'm currently based in Brooklyn and looking for my next opportunity in NYC.
